James M. Hunter is a judge for the Sumner County General Sessions Court Division I, which presides over Sumner County, Tennessee. He is based in Gallatin. He was appointed to this position by the Sumner County Commission in 2003 to replace retired Judge John Wesley Jones.[1][2] Hunter is running for re-election to the Sumner County General Sessions Court in 2014.[3]
