Jody Powers: Living Sent Ministries Inspirational Meetings Lead to Life-long Friendships

When I attended my first LSM meeting, I immediately noticed that this group was different! The genuine spirit for incorporating God into the workplace was very contagious. Although I’m involved in running a Christ-centered charitable organization, I was so encouraged to know that many local businesses also focus on serving others through Christ’s love. The monthly meetings are a great recharge during the work day, just like attending church is during the work week.

Through these meetings I have forged life-long friendships. Some of these relationships have even led to gaining ministry supporters, board members and donors. Collaboration is much more productive for the Kingdom than trying to do it alone, and this is a great group of like-minded people to collaborate with.
