Ray Render

Ray Render was born in Madison, Tennessee. His father, Dalton, worked at DuPont factory in Old Hickory and his mother, Pat, was a homemaker. He graduated from Madison High School in 1985 and continued his education at Tennessee Tech University, graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Ray completed a Master of Business Administration in 1993 at Belmont University.

Ray’s first job out of college was with Toshiba Consumer Electronics. He worked there for over 7 years as a Facilities Engineer and as a Refurbishing Department Manager. For 22 years, he worked at Bridgestone/Firestone in Donelson, Tennessee in sales and marketing.

Ray currently works for Congressman John Rose as his Deputy District Director. He covers several counties, including Macon, Robertson, Sumner, Trousdale, and Wilson.

Ray lives with his wife Sheri and has two children in college at UT Chattanooga, along with three cats named Cupcake, Cocoa, and Scamp. They attend Hermitage Church of the Nazarene. Ray is a proud owner of a 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. He is also an active member of the Mt. Juliet Breakfast Rotary Club. When not spending time with his family, Ray enjoys watching the Titans and the Volunteers play football in the fall.
